- Inspection

1.Turn the ignition switch ON.

2.Manually operate the control switch and measure the voltage of the blower motor.

3.Select the control switch to raise voltage until the speed gets high.

- Replacement

1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the PWM Blower module (B) after loosening the mounting screws.

3.Install in the reverse order or removal.

- Replacement 1.Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work. 2.Put a flat tool (Ø4mm) into a guide hole located in the bottom of steering wheel and press a spring. • When put a tool into a hole, make sure not to damage an airbag cusion by a tool. 3.Turn a steering wheel anti-clockwise, so make a guide hole (A) shown on the rightside.

- Removal • Put on gloves to protect your hands. • Use seat covers to avoid damaging any surfaces. 1.Remove the roof garnish.(Refer to Body Side Molding - "Roof Garnish") 2.Remove the rear pillar trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Rear Pillar Trim") 3.Spread the WD - 40 on the side of rear window glass.
